Tappet Bodies
Tappet bodies undergo a complete remanufacturing process. Tappets are degreased and ultrasonically cleaned. The spherical radius is precision ground. Then each unit is heat-treated and Magnaflux inspected. Hydraulic unit flow rates are gauged and matched sets are created to insure a smooth-running engine. Sets are issued either an EASA or FAA 8130 maintenance release for return to service.

Each roller tappet undergoes a complete remanufacturing process. The rollers and bearings are disassembled and removed. Each unit is thoroughly cleaned, dimensionally checked, and Magnaflux inspected. The unit is then reassembled using all new components, giving another life to the part. All assemblies are final inspected by the inspection division to ensure consistent high-quality parts every time. Sets are issued either an EASA or FAA 8130 maintenance release for return to service.
